The test of any Prime Minister is: do you leave your country in a better place than you found it?
I’m proud that the answer is yes.
Keir Starmer reflects on his time as Labour leader and Prime Minister

Keir Starmer has announced his plan for an under-16 social media ban, covering platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and X.
The plans also include extra protections from harmful features such as livestreaming and contact from strangers, including on gaming sites.

As this @YouGov polling demonstrates, action on protecting children from social media harms is one of the least politically contentious issues of our time.
Almost all parents want government help to tackle this.

These young women are heroines. Standing up for women's rights when they are in tension with men's is never easy. Trans activism rebranded feminists as exclusionary bigots - unless they would agree that biological sex matters less than gender identity!
Like i said, heroines 🙌
Replying to @MaeveHalligan
@MaeveHalligan at the Cambridge Union.
Maeve is one of the bravest people I know. The amount @CUSocOfWomen has gone through simply to exist, organise, and speak openly is unreal.
At the beginning of this year, I could barely exist in Cambridge normally. I was too scared to go into the city centre alone, eat in my dining hall, go to lectures, the gym, anything.
I am now almost completely immune to it. A huge part of that is down to Maeve’s strength. To watch her tonight was huge.
