End of Wk 1 of 3rd year as HT. For me, I can't imagine not caring about the staff, children & families in my school community... but making sure the busy-ness of school life doesn't get in the way of showing that care sometimes needs to be more of a conscious choice. Happy w/e 🥂

A new school year begins tomorrow. A new year brings new opportunities, a chance to refocus & to set new directions. It's exciting, but also daunting. There will be challenges as well as successes. But it will be ok, more than ok, I hope! I hope it will be OK for you too 👌🏻

Lovely 6.8k walk to find some beautiful elephants! @wildinart @thameshospice #trunksacrossthethames

Only just discovered it is #NationalGriefAwarenessDay A reminder that grief takes many forms, is not always related to the loss of a person (or animal), has no defined timeline and can look and feel different at different times. Be kind to yourself ❤️

Impulsive purchase at Camden Market turned into a little project. Frames for our vision and values. Lettering finished today. Last task - to attack my office wall with picture hooks and a hammer. What could possibly go wrong?!

Great few days in Copenhagen - beautiful city with lots to see and do.

Fascinating #MCEscher exhibition @SomersetHouse with so many examples of his work and great information explaining how he developed his skills.

Been to @WGHgdns today and these beautiful blooms are for anyone who needs some #FlowersOnFriday but especially for you @NoshiA100 as you always post the most beautiful pics 😍

Taken myself on a little trip to Richmond today, with a lovely walk along the Thames to @hamhousegarden

Love this 😍

Cheers to the end of a very busy but successful term 🍸 Proud to have completed 2 years as Headteacher. Know it will take time to wind down but looking forward to the Summer hols 🤩

One day more! Leavers' assembly, meeting a prospective governor, taking yrs 3 & 5 for a bit so their teachers can sort their rooms pre-roofing project, shirt signing, lunch duty, yr6 send off. One day more!

Agree. Of course being a Headteacher is demanding and there can be some really tricky times, but it's too easy to fall into the negative. I love my job and am proud to lead my school community 💚

Beautiful azaleas at Virginia Water this morning. The colours were stunning 😍
