Many people often ask me why I named my company Nomad Trading. And I frequently inquire if they truly understand the concept of a Nomad. Surprisingly, many people don't.
In essence, a "nomad" refers to a person with no settled home, moving from place to place as a way of obtaining food, finding pasture for livestock, or otherwise making a living.
To me, nomads symbolize individuals in pursuit of a better and more fruitful life—people who embody the essence of freedom.
The underlying idea here is that trading is a skill that, once learned, offers an incredible opportunity to live life on your terms. It enables you to break free from the system, liberating yourself from the suffocating 9-5 job that drains you. It allows you to step away from a life where your children are growing up and you're unable to spend time with them. In my perception, trading epitomizes the ultimate skill capable of crafting your dream life, brimming with freedom. For me, trading has always represented freedom, which is precisely why I savor every moment of this journey.
This is exactly why I chose such a name for my company. This is exactly why I embraced this idea and lifestyle. Because, my friends, we were meant to be free and to me trading is the key.
If you take 1 lesson from PFM drama that happened lately is that:
Loyalty can't be bought.
Affiliates change sides the moment they feel threatened.
I made this mistake in my first startup way back in 2021. I was overpaying my employess thinking that if they are happy I'll build loyalty. The truth is the moment hardships started.
I was left alone to deal with the mess.
Thing is business is hard. Doing a long-term sustainable business is even harder.
Also an employee is never a shareholder or a co-founder so they are not as invested as you are.
Some thoughts that might be useful for the people who try to build their own stuff.

Yep, little bro. Whatever you say. 😂
Meanwhile, last month was a record-breaking month for payout volumes across all the prop firms we've been tracking since 2023.
Oh, and by the way, we just crossed 1 MILLION tracked transactions.
Let that sink in.
1 MILLION payouts.
But sure, the industry is dying. 💀
This is getting ridiculous.
So I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago.
I'm removing all affiliate partnerships from Chart Nomads.
You can't claim to be unbiased while having a financial incentive to push one company over another. That's a conflict of interest, whether people want to admit it or not.
The trading industry has a serious trust problem, and I refuse to be part of it.
My goal is simple: build a place where traders can make informed decisions and companies can earn their reputation through transparency, not commissions.
Trust shouldn't be for sale.
Update from Prop Firm Match | 2 November 2026
Over the past few days, many claims have been shared about Prop Firm Match, many of them before the full facts were available. Rather than respond to each one, we want to set the record straight with the facts our review has established so far.
This first update covers the referral redirect we disabled on 29 October.
What happened
When traders clicked on firm names or “Copy Code” in certain sections of our website, the interaction also opened the relevant firm's affiliate link. We disabled this functionality on 29 October.
What we have established so far
Based on our technical review to date:
• It did not operate without a user-initiated click.
• It opened only the affiliate link of the firm selected by the trader.
• It did not involve hidden iframes or invisible pixels.
• It operated within PFM's own website code and was not deployed on partner websites or through PFM badges or widgets on third-party sites.
• It did not change the prices traders paid or discounts they received.
• If a trader later clicked another affiliate’s link or used that affiliate’s code, under most of the attribution models reviewed, the sale would be credited to the last click or code used.
The potential impact
Our early, modelled estimate indicates that the potential impact on referral attribution represents a low single-digit percentage of the commissions Prop Firm Match earned, varying from partner to partner.
These are preliminary findings, not final figures. For each firm that takes part, we will review the findings individually to assess any potential impact specific to that firm.
What we're doing
We are inviting every firm we have worked with, both current and former partners, to review our findings against their own records.
Prop Firm Match continues to operate as normal. We encourage everyone to rely on verified information as our review continues.
Our full updates are available here: propfirmmatch.com/statement
To not have a verified badge felt super liberating. Pretty sure there is audience for that as well since it's giving you the autenticity of being not considered as influencer or some kind of stuff.
However what annoys me a lot is the post length limitations. 😅
For the last few months I was trying to sell Chart Nomads brand and exit this venture as my available time shrank significantly.
However seeing this plot twist from the last few days I have new ideas and I am positive we definitely got a market gap here.
Prop Firm Match bunch of jerks since 2023.
They weren't taking money after all only pushing those which paid the biggest commission. 😅
While scamming all the industry with cookie stuffing.
Effective immediately @PropFirmMatch affiliate partnership is terminated.
All their commissions for the month are forfeited, and financial claims are going to be pursued.
We have caught the cookies practices in August, took actions on it and Our rank dropped from Nr. 1 best seller to Nr.10.
Plus being told that traders picking us over other firms costs them money, which I understand since their commission is same as any other affiliate.
Since the beginning we have supported them, tech, expertise and features, yet that business grew into something I personally don’t believe in.
Adios 👊🏽
Guys asking if @VestExchange is sustainable like they will put their pension funds.
Like cmon. You buy, you trade, you request payout same day.
Whats the worst that can happen?
Truth is Vest product is unmatched currently and they nailed exactly what traders wanted.

From business perspective I am quite positive they safe hell a lot of money when they do not have pay to cTrader, Metaquotes, Ninjatrader and the likes millions of dollars per month.
They own their infrastructure from end to end. This is one of the biggest advantage imo.

To go an extra mile:
- No KYC rejected excuse on payout
- No waiting when passing account
- No need to tag the CEO to be paid when your payout been on hold for 5 days already
Platform just works and as an engineer I can see the effort behind it. It is designed to be smooth.
14th out of 13,400 traders.
Two competitions entered in 2026.
Two finishes inside the top 0.1%.
What does that tell you?
The results speak for themselves.
And yes, I’m finally opening my mentorship soon.

After finishing Top 3 in the E8 Hyper Cup in July, I’ve now broken into the Top 25 in the @MyFundedPerps competition, competing against more than 12,000 traders.
Once again, I’m putting my performance out there live and showing that I can compete at this level consistently.
Different competition. Different traders. Same result: competing near the top.
At some point, repeated performance stops looking like luck.
Personally, I think prop trading is gradually moving toward a much more competitive model, where traders can prove themselves against thousands of others in real time rather than relying only on screenshots & payouts.
And I like that direction a lot. I participate in such since its much more fun than trading alone in the shadows.
More competition. More transparency. More pressure to actually perform.
That’s the kind of environment I want to trade in.

35 mins to go. I managed to improve to 2nd. 5000$ cash prize.
I'll take that 2nd place out of 4625 traders tbh.
There is almost no moat left in software itself.
If your business uses software but the actual moat is somewhere else, that is a completely different story.
Take prop firms.
Their moat is access to leverage, capital, distribution, community, brand, risk infrastructure and relationships.
The software is just the tool enabling the business.
But if you are selling SaaS and the software itself is supposed to be the moat, I think the next few years are going to become increasingly brutal.
We are moving toward a world where more and more people will ask:
"Why am I paying $30, $50 or $100 every month for this when I can build my own version for the cost of a few coffees?"
Obviously, great production-ready software still requires serious design, engineering, infrastructure, security, testing, tokens and, most importantly, time.
But that barrier keeps falling.
And eventually even people with almost no technical ability will be able to describe what they want and have an AI build most of it for them.
There is also an important distinction here.
Production-ready software serving thousands of customers is one game.
A tool you vibe-coded for yourself, running locally with your own data and solving your exact problem, is another.
The second one does not need perfect architecture, enterprise security, a support team, onboarding flows or 99.99% uptime.
It just needs to work for you.
And that is precisely why a huge amount of SaaS is vulnerable.
Software that supports a business, automates operations and strengthens an existing moat will remain incredibly valuable.
But if the code itself is your main moat, you should probably assume that someone will be able to copy 80% of what you built faster and cheaper every single year.
The moat is increasingly becoming everything around the software.
Distribution.
Data.
Network effects.
Brand.
Community.
Capital.
Relationships.
Execution.
The software is becoming the commodity layer.
There’s a common debate in trading:
“Why would you buy mentorship from someone who isn’t a successful trader themselves and doesn’t have a proven track record?”
Fair question.
But today I learned something interesting about Maria Montessori, the woman behind one of the most famous education methods in the world.
She did not raise her son Mario during much of his childhood.
And that made me think.
Here you have someone who dedicated a huge part of her life to studying children, education, development, and learning, yet her own child was not raised under the kind of environment we now associate with the Montessori philosophy.
There’s an interesting parallel with trading mentorship.
A person might understand trading deeply, explain concepts extremely well, recognize mistakes, build good systems, and genuinely help others improve without necessarily having an exceptional personal trading record.
And here’s the kicker:
Two students can buy exactly the same mentorship.
One becomes profitable.
The other loses money.
So who deserves the credit?
The mentor?
The student?
Or some combination of both?
You can ask the same question about Montessori education.
People often point to highly successful people who attended Montessori schools as evidence that the method works.
But there are also countless highly successful people who never experienced Montessori education at all.
So how much of the outcome comes from the method, and how much comes from the individual child, their family, environment, personality, intelligence, discipline, opportunities, and countless other variables?
Maybe we give systems, teachers, mentors, and methodologies too much credit when outcomes are good, and too much blame when they are bad.
A great teacher can probably increase your odds.
A great system can probably improve the environment.
But neither can manufacture the person using it.
Food for thought.
Dunning-Kruger at its finest.
Idk how this is gonna sound, but I’ve pretty much stopped being active on this app.
Mainly because a lot of the people I interacted with gave me a distorted idea of what “success” actually looks like.
Most of them are probably younger than me. No family, no kids, very little pressure, barely any real responsibilities.
No offense, but I live and trade in a completely different league of life.
And that’s also why I don’t really see a reason to post here often or prove anything to anyone, especially when a lot of the people watching are just young guys hustling hard and trying to make it.
I genuinely admire that hustle at a young age.
But at the same time, more and more of the posts I see here feel disconnected from reality.
I don’t like the fake image that many affiliates create around trading and what the life of a trader actually looks like.
But I also understand why they do it.
The real version isn’t sexy.
It’s stressful. Inconsistent. Sometimes boring. Sometimes lonely. There are responsibilities, bills, family, bad months, pressure, mistakes, and long periods where there is absolutely nothing worth posting.
And that probably doesn’t sell very well.
So nowadays I’d rather stay quiet, focus on my own journey, and enjoy it without feeling the need to overshare every win, loss, or milestone. ✌️
