A glorious day visiting HMS Queen Elizabeth today. The @RoyalNavy did a fantastic job showcasing their capabilities, but it was the people that were most impressive - working exceptionally hard, but still highly motivated, clearly lead well, and engaging at every level. 👏

Great day delivering to the League Managers’ Association yesterday. So much overlap between the @Army_Leadership Leader Competency Framework and other high performance team settings. It was evidently a privilege to host Gareth Southgate too and hear his take on this work.
Yesterday's visit by the League Managers Association to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for leadership development with the Centre for Army Leadership was a remarkable convergence of two worlds that excel in high-pressure environments.
The day was an opportunity for the British Army and elite football managers to exchange insights on leadership, decision-making, and team dynamics. The collaboration highlighted the shared values of discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking that are crucial in both military and sports settings.
This mutual exchange not only enriched both parties but also underscored the universal principles of effective leadership, whether on the battlefield or the football pitch.
