The last time @CuseWBB squared off with @CornellWBB, it was amidst a five game winning streak all the way back in 2023.

You hate to see it. The nail in the coffin on the season.
#Dolphins star RB De’Von Achane suffered a torn ACL, sources tell me and @AdamSchefter, and he’s out for the season.
In an already trying season for Miami, the team loses Achane.

Unpopular opinion:
Taking Jeremiah Smith and then taking another QB with second pick. His talent is generational - hybrid of Julio Jones/JSN imo.
Trinidad Chambliss
Darian Mensah
John Mateer
Drew Mestemaker are all names to keep in mind until draft time, maybe a couple more.
Now - if Arch has a great season (which he is) and ends up taking Texas all the way and wins the heisman, different conversation.
Another scenario is if we somehow don’t end up with number 1 pick and pick 2 for example and a team ends up taking him before we do, then I 10000% take Jeremiah Smith.
To be continued…

🚨BREAKING: Klay Thompson is expected to sign with the Miami Heat after being bought out by the Mavericks, per @ShamsCharania
Yesterday I capped off the summer with another amazing opportunity.
I went to LoanDepot Park to meet @SStrom_ and Syracuse alumni @Jack_McMullen11!Jack is the lead radio play-by-play commentator for the @Marlins. Stephen is the pregame and postgame show host for @MarlinsRadio along with engineering the broadcasts and much more!
They showed me around the booth and walked me through how the everyday professional baseball broadcast is operated, all the way from hours before the game up until the first pitch. I got a better understanding of all the behind the scenes preparation done by the two of them and was introduced to different programs I’ve never seen before. When talking with Jack, he was also able to show me how he does his prep as a major league broadcaster. They were very helpful in answering all my questions and enhancing my knowledge about how professional sports broadcasts are executed. I am super grateful for the opportunity Jack and Stephen gave me along with everything I learned!
Yesterday I was able to shadow for a third time this summer!
I was able to go to NBC and Telemundo Studios to visit Ozzie Martínez. He is an executive vice president of multi-platform news for NBCUniversal. With Ozzie, I got to understand all the behind the scenes work that goes into your everyday broadcast shows. I got a tour of the studios and got an insight on the process put into executing professional television. I also saw so many amazing studio sets and different aspects of production.
I was also very fortunate to meet Miguel Lorenzo. He is the senior vice president of sports content and production for NBCU. With Miguel, I got an insight on how so much different preparation is done in order to broadcast so many events such as the World Cup. He taught me all the different logistics that go into setting up these broadcasts and gave me a better understanding of the sports broadcasting industry as a whole! I am super grateful to the opportunity Ozzie gave me and for what I was taught!
Check it out!
