I'll be spending the better part of Thursday and Friday getting CT scans and MRIs done of my brain and upper spine trying to find a cerebrospinal fluid leak, which they think may be at the root of all of my other health problems. If they find what they think they're going to find, there's a good chance I'll need to undergo brain surgery in coming months. Because the scans are being ordered by my out-of-network specialist at an out-of-network imaging center, my out-of-pocket cost will be much more than my pocket currently contains.
