The @OpenAI hate bots have had their bank accounts topped up today and are working overtime. You can tell they're a hate bot because of how they ignore facts and just regurgitate the same talking points.
The base is increasing. Pro plans use an "x" factor of base usage. $200/mo pro is decreasing to 10x of base usage, but base usage is going up, so we don't really know how much usage is dropping but it's not by 50%.

Pro 200 = 10X
and we are reopening subscriptions for Pro 200 (we had paused it). If you have an existing plan you will keep the 20X multiplier for a bit and also receive a lot of additional credits because we know changes are hard even if it means that everyone will get more in the end.

In just 75 minutes Astra (Ultra) built:
- A whole desktop window management like MacOS
- Settings that actually search
- File system including a working terminal
- "not twitter" that works (you can see my post there!)
- A working browser with tabs
- An apple music that plays music
- Calendars, reminders, notes
This has more features than the first MacOS, and the first versions of windows.

We are starting to release GPT-6 Astra and we are doing it as carefully and quickly as possible. It was very important to us that we bring it to all Plus users and not only Pro, Business and Enterprise.
It will take a few days for the rollout to complete and behind the scenes many novel systems will operate at scale for the first time and we are bringing a lot of compute up.
