🚨 The City doesn't have faith in John Healey.
Investors are voting with their wallets because Labour refuse to rule out another tax raid or get a grip on debt.
Another deeply concerning vote of no confidence in Labour's Britain.
Thank you so much for being such a fantastic contributor!
Great to be speaking on UK financial services at #CPC26 and how to make the U.K. 🇬🇧 investable again.
For all the key indicators - like tax, regulatory regime, universities - the UK has been moving in the wrong direction.
Good panel with new ideas to reverse this.

This was one of the most interesting panels of the conference with some real heavyweights on the panel - thank you for arranging this, and the refreshments (and @Blackrock)
Three more followers to make us top 1k!
It could be you!

I will be a tax-cutting Conservative Chancellor to get Britain growing again. 🇬🇧🚀

Gordon Brown emails John Healey in block capitals at night!
Dread to think what he's telling him...
What would your all caps email to Labour’s Chancellor say?

💷 Debt hitting £3 trillion and multi-decade high borrowing costs.
🙄 Welfare hypocrisy after blocking reform.
🛑 A Jobs Tax on hiring.
🥀 Defence promises with no money behind them.
The Chancellor needs to get serious.

Chris Rokos paid £330million in taxes in the UK last year.
Because of @UKLabour he is now leaving meaning that tax revenue will be ZERO.
To put in perspective @JohnHealey_MP announced a £150m investment plan today, that’s half of what Rokos generated.

John Healey is continuity Rachel Reeves.
He has failed to rule out more taxes, offered no pause to Labour's red tape, or plans to get energy bills down.
Only the Conservatives have the team and the plan to get our economy growing and bring down the cost of living for families.

Jesus Christ this is bad. It’s no wonder @policylaila never became a Tory MP like she so desperately wanted to be in 2024.

This is the defining moment from @Nigel_Farage’s speech.
Far from security escorting the protestor out, @reformparty_uk members are seen choking, beating & dragging a woman around by her hair while he laughs…
@RobertJenrick, @SuellaBraverman & @danny__kruger - still proud?
🚨 REFORM CONFERENCE DESCENDS INTO SHAME!🚨
I hate protesters storming political events, but what happened next was worse. As security tried to remove her, some Reform supporters allegedly grabbed, slapped and punched her instead of letting security do their job.
I repeat: there is nothing the Conservatives can do to win some of these people over. This isn’t politics anymore — it’s a cult. 🤦🏽♂️

Amazing how quickly @EmmaforWycombe forgets her previous job!
Emma, when that mini-Budget was announced, you were Managing Director of TheCityUK, which welcomed it, saying it took ‘bold action to create the conditions for economic growth’.
You weren’t an MP, but your Labour colleagues at the time were calling for even MORE spending.
And as my successor as City Minister, you cheered as Rachel Reeves torched jobs, hurt farmers, attacked independent education and damaged businesses.
The lesson for is that all decisions must be forensically costed, with detailed ‘how-to’ plans to back them up. As a private sector finance director for 11 years, that is second nature to me and will be how the new Conservative Economic Unit will operate.

Great to see @griffitha take on this role!
Sir @MelJStride was an excellent Shadow Chancellor and we are sure will have a lot to offer the Party going forward.
#OneTeamOneDream
It is a huge honour to become Shadow Chancellor for the party I joined as a teenager under Margaret Thatcher.
Working as a team, we Conservatives will deliver an economic revolution.
We will deliver lower, simpler taxes, get Britain drilling again to bring down energy costs, slash the red tape holding Britain back, and scrap the job-killing measures in Labour’s (Un)Employment Rights Act.
A strong country needs a strong economy.
The Conservatives will always back the risk-takers and wealth creators who deliver growth, investment and jobs.
Fan-bloody-tastic news!
London needs more than an administrator. It needs a champion, someone who understands its potential and is prepared to fight for its future.
That’s why I’m running to be the Conservative Candidate for London Mayor.

I walk past Buckingham Palace almost every day and it constantly baffles me why we have tonnes of this shit, cheap, ugly fencing littered all over the place, even when there are lovely iron fences in place.
The centre of our monarchical architecture is cluttered and ugly.
