Does anyone have any template recommendations for clinical write-ups of PID-5 results? We're trying to integrate dimensional assessments into our reports at the Pitt Clinical Psychology Center, but can't settle on templates for clinical application.

#RStats tip of the day, want **reproducibly** random jitter plots? Use position_jitter()!
ggplot(mtcars, aes(x = cyl, y = mpg, group = cyl)) +
geom_boxplot() +
geom_point(position = position_jitter(seed = 37))
Note the exact matching between plots!

ALT Reprex screenshot, code at: https://gist.github.com/jthomasmock/b6d44bc3adb25c65a6129ae869a93e41 Two example graphs, the one on the left has random jitter with a specific seed (37) which matches the one on the right exactly, although we've now added a color to each of the factors. The takeaway is the ability to get the exact same jitter with each subsequent graph.

Correlation is a powerful tool for showing a trend in the population, but it doesn’t say anything about particular individuals. Check out more from the latest #ejp blog post by René Mõttus below

Yet another paper, this time @nicholaraihani, was rejected bc their null-finding isn't "interesting enough" to publish.
This makes clear the journal isn't interested in the core goal of science: learning about the world.
So what journal characteristics support this goal?🧵
