X folks I really need your help. Long post but please read. Maggie (was Ruby) needs a rest of life foster. She needs a special foster home. These lovely words are from the rescue who took her for me. Please message me or contact the rescue (links further down) if you can help. 💔 Please don’t let Maggie spend the rest of her life in kennels… Some of you may remember our beautiful Romanian girl, Maggie. For the first seven years of her life she simply survived. We don’t know how many litters she had, or how many hardships she endured before she finally found her way to safety. Then she discovered something she’d probably never known before… A sofa. A blanket. A family. A place where she could rest her head on someone’s shoulder and finally believe she belonged. Sadly, life has thrown Maggie another curveball. She has recently been diagnosed with a slow-growing lymphoma. The encouraging news is that our vets expect two years and beyond, and because she is so bright, happy and well, she doesn’t need any treatment at this stage. She simply needs regular monitoring. If you met Maggie today, you would never believe anything was wrong. She still enjoys her walks, still does her joyful little zoomies, still barks if breakfast is running late (Princess Maggie has very high standards! 👑😂), and still believes chicken carcasses are the finest cuisine known to dogkind. But despite all of that… Maggie now faces returning to kennels. After finally discovering what it feels like to have a home. Our hearts are breaking at the thought of this gentle little soul spending however long she has left behind kennel doors when all she really wants is a quiet home, a comfy sofa, and someone to love. We’re looking for a very special foster home within travelling distance of Ashbourne and Blenheim Vets. Someone who won’t see a diagnosis. Someone who will see Maggie. Someone who will treasure every ordinary day… every walk, every cuddle, every bark demanding breakfast, every sunny afternoon in the garden. Because dogs don’t measure life in years. They measure it in love. If you think you could offer Princess Maggie the home she deserves, or would like to know more, please get in touch. If you could find it in your hearts to make a donation, towards our work, no matter how big or small it will help towards the dogs in our care that are undergoing veterinary treatment and we would be so very grateful 🙏 paypal.com/GB/fundraiser/cha… A like and a share would also go a long way in helping Maggie find that special sofa, surrounded by love & TLC Let’s make sure that Maggie’s next chapter isn’t written in a kennel. Let’s write it in a home. 🙏 01335 361363 Email: [email protected] Facebook facebook.com/share/v/19FqiCC…
