"The focus of school should not be to make every student good at the same thing but to ensure they know they are great at something!
Some of the smartest students in school do terribly academically.
Yet, they have incredible gifts to share with the world.
Do we help them find their own pathway to success or determine that for them?"

⚠️Planned Irving Police Department Training - Thursday, September 26⚠️
The Irving Police Department will be conducting police training at the former Britain Elementary School building this Thursday, September 26.
Neighbors in the area may hear loud sounds and notice an increased police presence. We want to reiterate that this is all part of a scheduled Irving Police Department training, and the training will be contained to what is now an empty school building. There is no reason for alarm. The training and campus are not open to the public.
For questions or concerns, please contact the @IrvingPD.

Way to demonstrate responsibility and leadership in your classroom! Way to go, Torchlighters! @_AnneClark @IrvingISD
1st graders gathered their own materials for their challenge today and kinder cleaned up and put away their STEM bins so neatly. We are 2 weeks into school and they are doing an amazing job managing their own materials 😊@Enrichment_IISD
