this topic is getting on my nerves because people get how bridal silk is different from nightgown silk but wanna pretend daytime makeup is the same as bridal makeup.
Bridal is closer to theater makeup because it has to last thru eight+ hours of ACTIVITY

wedding before. makeup flawless from morning til night. meanwhile, the next time i felt a bit lazy and just did a normal glam look, i found myself needing to retouch due to sweat, oils from my face, food, etc.
that said, i dont think MUAs are actually outraged being "scammed"

but 6+ hour wear of bridal makeup and 6+ hour wear of soft glam could usually be differentiated as soft glam makeups arent made to last as long as bridal ones do. and i can 100% vouch for this cuz ive done bridal makeup steps on myself before to last me a whole day at my cousin's

should last u all night either way. but realistically, weddings are from the morning til the night. ie, longer wear. soft glam is usually for parties anyways (wedding guests usually) in which u wear it for less amount of time. both should look good photographic wise either way

the long answer is that, as far as i know of and remember from the classes ive took before, application is thicker for bridal makeups than soft glam (2 layers for glam, 3 layers for bridal). hence, the makeup lasting longer than soft glam. yes the soft glam makeup you ordered

fun fact: i actually took MUA classes so i lowk can answer this and the outrage in the replies LOL
in short, bridal makeups usually include a trial makeup where u discuss with the MUA how u want it to be like on D-Day!!! makeup goes overtime. u look shit = theyre shit

Having convos about whether Candiace was fired 3 years later is weird. Let’s go with she was fired. Now what?
