5/ BUT THESE AREN’T JUST CARDS.
Every Kento card connects to an original digital artwork.
Scan the QR code → claim the artwork on-chain → own the digital work alongside the physical card.
Or keep the card unopened.
Your collection, your ritual.
I’ll miss you #fxhash.
Thanks a lot for all the emotions.
After many fine tuning, I plan to drop my 1st #fxhash project "Bright circuits" this week !
A lot of features and variations.

i wanted to give fxhash a proper goodbye. 😿
so i built a gallery you can walk through and appreciate some of the best art ever made there. every painting runs live on the wall. many artists have their own side rooms too. #genartclub #generativeart

To everyone, thanks for the amazing years. It seems that the fxhash platform has come to a close. The artwork, however, lives on.
The lack of communication around the wind-down is regrettable. To clarify and provide some closure:
The entire fxhash team was let go in February, except for the founder. Currently, there appears to be no attempt being made to close on the loan offered to the company (the loan was previously mentioned in a post by ciphrd).
Therefore, no current or future development is being planned. The website is now offline, and it is unclear whether it will come back.
To all the people who made fxhash possible: artists, collectors, team members, enthusiasts, supporters, partners...in short, EVERYONE who took part in the special happening that was fxhash...THANK YOU!
We shared so much together and had a truly wild code-based ride. Thankfully, @verse_works @lerandomart @objktcom are supporting the viewing & exchange of artworks published on fxhash. Mega props to them for staying true to the mission through difficult times.
And former fxhash front-end developer @maerzhase3000 has developed a framework for keeping fxhash artwork available without relying on fxhash infrastructure: whitehash.m3000.io
It's too bad things ended like this. But between the monumental trove of artwork that formed a unique creative movement and the friends we made along the way, some might say we lived it to the fullest.
The discord community is indeed still online and active if you're looking for a place to hang and talk about the good ol' days.

Sheltered Landscape - White Series / right / screen 13 | Art by @zancan
"This work was initially displayed for Zancan’s solo show "Sheltered Landscapes" (Rifugio Digitale, Florence, Italy 28.09 – 15.10.2023). The NFT release showcases an original animation of the construction of the digital drawing, followed by a still image of the finished work, suited for exhibiting on 4K screen as a 1 minute-long video loop. The process of making the video is entirely generative ; the file is a direct output of an original software crafted by the artist, which prevents from any compression artefact."
Notes: Take a minute, play on full screen, enjoy. I love this piece.

Such an honor to be in that series, I've been out of words the whole day.

When generative artist @zancan inherited the algorithm to create 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘥 10, he received Aleksandra Jovanić’s files and discovered a hidden, 3D human figure buried within the code.
His response? To isolate the geometry of that figure, construct a wound near its heart and use algorithmic flora and cubic structures as symbols of personal healing.

Absolutely delighted to finally reveal my piece of the puzzle in the Please Respond project, titled “Show Me Where It Hurts.”

When I embroidered that piece back in June, it was far from straightforward, spent a week trying to rework the original algorithm to create a stitchable version that would produce varying thread width, without breaking the look of the original drawing. The needle goes back and forth to achieve that, in practice it does either 1 or 3 passes. It's done in a single run, truly just one long, single thread, that kept going for hours. Underneath the fabric, I had to replace the bobin 6 times ! And I stretched it with hundreds of tiny nails planted with my bare fingers. Not to brag, all worth it, I loved the result. Happy it's traveling....
