Physicians often get demoralized fighting for reform.
I have learned so much fighting arm in arm with independent pharmacists.
Many thanks to @Greg_Reybold @BrandiChane @MoniqueWhitney for inviting me to speak next to Indie pharmacists and the BIPARTISAN Pharmacists Fight Back Act.

Please make sure you check your prescription coverages as they may have changed and you may not have gotten notice of the change. This is what took my son’s life two years ago on January 21, 2024. #PBMReform #2026 #Truth @mass_marion @PharmacyPodcast @Commpharmacy @TruthRX @_APCI @IPAPharmacies

Big PBMs to a T. Drug pricing isn't nearly as complex as they make it out to be. By muddying the water big PBMs & their VI affiliates suck billions out of the system. @46brooklyndata @_APCI

PBMs decide how medicines are priced and accessed. Nine of the ten largest PBMs are owned by insurers, using rebate schemes and spread pricing that raise costs and hurt communities.
The Reform Act of 2025 (H.R. 4317) can change this:
✔ Ban spread pricing in Medicaid
✔ Create transparent reimbursement models
✔ De-couple PBM pay from drug prices
What does that mean for us? Patients get affordable medicines, pharmacies get fair pay, employers get honest cost breakdowns, and the market gets better competition.
Reform is about fairness, accountability, and protecting access to care. It is time to put patients first, not middlemen. 💚

What if you paid $15 for bread, $25 for milk, or $40 for cereal? Crazy, right? That is exactly what PBM pricing feels like when patients try to get their medications.
Instead of lowering costs, PBMs inflate them; pocketing the difference while patients struggle and independent pharmacies are forced out. Families make painful choices, and communities lose trusted providers.
Reform is the only way to make drug pricing fair, transparent, and patient-centered 💡

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.

With 22,000% drug markups, Rxs $6k over NADAC, & ind. pharmacies being crushed, Virginia’s Medicaid managed care program is off the rails. Virginia SB 875 trims the fat via a single PBM model. Let’s get it signed. #itworkedinOhio @HokiePharmacist

If you are pro-competition, why do your biggest members do everything possible to prevent brand manufacturers from offering rebates through @costplusdrugs like they do your members ?
Why do you threaten to remove them from formularies if they deal with us ?
Answer: you know that our 15 pct markups would collapse your margins on brand name meds. Just like we have down for specialty generics and biosimilars.
You know that we would save taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. Because you know that plan premiums would drop as competitors used our pricing instead of yours.
Patient co-insurance and out of pocket would drop as well.
Hey @elonmusk , I got your @doge savings right here.
Bills would encourage more generic and biosimilar competition in the Rx market to help lower costs for patients. pcmanet.org/press-releases/p…
