@syrupsid's point about earnings per token vs. pure buybacks is the maturity crypto desperately needs.
Most protocols treat revenue like it's only good for one thing: buy and burn tokens to pump price.
But that's short-term thinking.
The real question is: does buying back tokens today create more value than reinvesting in infrastructure, partnerships, or products that 10x your revenue tomorrow?
This is how real businesses operate.
Walmart didn't become Walmart by returning 100% of profits to shareholders.
They reinvested in stores, supply chains, distribution.
The shareholder value came from growth, not just buybacks.
Crypto projects need this same discipline: prove sustainability with some buybacks, but prioritize intelligent reinvestment for long-term dominance.
