Humanity has prevailed (for now!)
I'm completely exhausted. I figured, I had 10h of sleep in the last 3 days and I'm barely alive.
I'll post more about the contest when I get some rest.
(To be clear, those are provisional results, but my lead should be big enough)

The truth about Ellis Islanders.
- Around 2% were denied entry due to poor health or for holding anti-Christian ideology.
- 33% voluntarily returned home, because there wasn't welfare in the U.S. back then.

Fable 5 isn't nerfed, it's SLAUGHTERED.
the problem isn't even the model itself, but the hard guardrails Anthropic has set in place.
FABLE 5 CAME BACK NERFED.
We re-ran the July 1st version of Claude Fable 5 on BridgeBench.
The results are brutal:
Debugging: 86.2 → 25.9
Refactoring: 73.6 → 38.4
Hallucination: 75.9 → 61.7
The new guardrails are kicking in on way too many tasks and falling back to Opus 4.8.
This is not the model that got banned.
Anthropic owes everyone an explanation.

Oooh, burn :) -> Anthropic plans a 30-second ad during the Super Bowl parodying the prospect of intrusive ads in AI conversations, and will also air a 60-second pre-game ad
Remember that OpenAI commercial with the guy doing pull-ups?
"The 30-second Anthropic spot features a young man in a park attempting pull-ups, who asks a muscular bystander about achieving six-pack abs. The man starts with a detailed, if somewhat robotic response—like users might get from an AI chatbot—before spewing out an ad for “StepBoost Max” insoles." wsj.com/business/media/anthr…

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.
Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.
In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).
In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

Want to clone a website's design DNA? 🧬
@firecrawl MCP plugin (just added to MCP Marketplace) for Cline lets you:
• Feed it any website for inspiration
• Extract design patterns
• Analyze content structure
• Map navigation flows
Real example:
- Analyzed sasaki.com
- Extracted typography choices
- Mapped navigation patterns
- Studied section layouts
Result?
A new website that captures the essence while maintaining unique identity.
Think of it as design inspiration on autopilot:
Input → Analysis → Adaptation → Creation
Key insight: You're not copying—you're learning from the best and making it your own.
Question: What website's DNA would you want to study?

It may feel heroic but you're spending down your human capacity. That posture reduces brain oxygen by 30%. The blue light suppress melatonin, fragments deep-sleep, blunts next-day insulin sensitivity. The missed sleep raises cortisol, increases visceral-fat and decays memory.
