Last week we tried a subscription model for @iCodeThis Result? Horrible! 👎 We sold 3 subscriptions worth $60 in 3 days. Switched back to one-time payments for a lifetime membership and made $140 in one day. Conclusions? - People seem to be tired of subscriptions - One-time payment feels more like an investment, feels good - The monthly subscription "obligation" reminds you that you didn't act on it, feels bad - LTV of the customer seems to be higher with one-time payments (although we need more data to say accurately)
