In addition to her talents, she's one of the most amazing humans to exist. Wonderful person. Totally driven. Huge fan.
I know @jmpaquette is a lightning rod around here on HRT. Letβs face it, she could turn into Tom Durkin and would still get shit on by many.
Iβm not saying sheβs everyoneβs cup of tea (but I know there are some popular guys that I donβt care for), Iβm not even saying you have to like her, but damn it, you better give her some respect. Show me another announcer this weekend thatβs had to call over 250 horses through 26 races. Sheβs been on point both days and despite all the hate, always carries herself like the consummate professional.
So Iβm gonna go out and give her the flowers she deserves cause nobody else will.
Great job today Jess, you nailed it.

Bravo @FreddyLA7! We wish you well on your return and in the years ahead.
So long, Americaπ«‘πΊπΈ
49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly donβt have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us.
This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped weβd get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now weβre flying home with friends all across the USA.
Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country weβve ever visited.
So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isnβt nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome!
I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly:
βIf you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.β
Thank you, America β€οΈπΊπΈ

Millie to the Rescue! AGAIN! π£π
On May 16, 2025, around 5:30 PM in the woods off Rowe Rd. in Palermo, MSP bloodhound Millie and her handler, Corporal Eric Sucy, alongside Maine Game Warden Julia Horst, located a missing 5-year-old girl with autism in a cedar swampβwaist-deep in water but thankfully uninjured. Millie tracked a 0.33-mile scent trail from the girlβs home.
Millie is only 10 months old, yet sheβs already proving herself time and again with her dedication, sweet disposition, and incredible nose. Weβre so proud of Millie and the teamβhereβs to many more successful missions! ππ«‘

There are a lot of Trump-aligned voices telling people to calm down. Selloffs happen.
And itβs true. People tend to regret panicking.
But this is one of the fastest selloffs of the last century, while the President pursues a policy that virtually no economist will defend.

Eight years of incredible memories.
We talked often about the Rams being back in LA and how we would grow to be something special here. And there was frustration early on around getting the buy in from the people of LA.
But we knew at the end of the day, itβs about providing moments. Shared experiences. The things that parents and their children will talk about and remember forever.
That is what makes the ending of these last eight years so difficult. Itβs the ending of something we have enjoyed building with you.
Thank you for these shared moments. Thank you LA for welcoming my family with open arms and allowing us to grow here.
Next chapter starts now. Best is yet to come.
