Honestly allot. last 3 weeks was just on the combat. I had to make a custom swing animation system though which took most of the time, but now I can actually make attacks that look good, bcz honestly Im terrible at normal keyframing

Thanks and honestly its just free clips I got online and layered ontop of each other. So for the hits I have 4 wood hits and 3 hitmarker sounds and we pick one of each at random and play them both. I made an Audio Pooling system so its suuuuper optimised

Thank you, the feel of the combat is what I’m focused on right now, so that’s good to hear.

Thanks! It should get more fun once we have something that fights back...

Thank you! I ditched my old ideas and just wanted to make something I’d actually play, so here we are

Appreciate the compliment! I’ve been practising in Blender, so that really boosted me 😀. And you’re right about the dummies, they’re the targets, so they should stand out. I’ll fix that for the next post.

Thank you I appreciate the compliment... the idea is you defend this little village, your building, from enemies and monsters that are trying to attack. Its a 3D rendition of a 2D prototype I made. So enemy army vs player and his troops / defences

This little fighter has no legs or face, but procedural animation gives it plenty of personality in Unity. ⚔️
