While many think that interacting with the Lord and the heavenly host is something so far-fetched, almost impossible, the truth is that this is the reality of the believer, whether they press in to experience it or not! Scripture says, “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.” — Hebrews 12:22 These are not redundant words in Scripture! They speak of spiritual realities that ought to be part of our lived experience as believers. 🙌🔥 And you see, the enemy would rather you never awaken to these realities, because a believer who becomes conscious of their position in Christ and begins to walk in it is no longer operating on the enemy's terms! It's no wonder the things of God are so often ridiculed, dismissed and made to appear foolish. Sometimes, people unknowingly become instruments of discouragement, keeping others from pressing into the very realities Christ has made available to them. And again, this is why the importance of fellowship cannot be overestimated! The enemy is always seeking whom he may devour. One of his tactics is to scatter the sheep, isolate them, and then prey on the one who has wandered away. There is something about remaining in the company of believers, continually receiving the Word and growing in the consciousness of who we are in Christ!
