Lots of fun new details about the viral @ZipsFB "Offensive Coordinator of the Game" promotion in my latest for @FOS: -- In 24 hrs since the offer went live, the school has sold out its suite inventory for the first time in program history & surged past annual ticket sales goals (club level/ other premium seating "almost gone," too) -- The concept was thought up "at 10 p.m. and 30,000 feet in the air" while Akron AD @ATGoodrich was on a flight home from the school’s appearance in the 2026 men’s NCAA basketball tournament -- Offer includes other perks for the winner, like appearing at a press conference & getting mic'd up on a headset -- @BarstoolBigCat is one of many big-name sports personalities who bought in. He told us he purchased eight Zips season tickets for $600. (Asked whether he’d reveal his offensive strategy if chosen, Katz declined. “No chance I give you the secrets to my playbook,” he said. “Nice try.”) frontofficesports.com/viral-…
