Like to put it another way, multiple swaths of people on most platforms can not even handle a statement that's even just, 10% exaggerative. They will read the sentence at complete face value and work from there.

I'm gonna be real, I think the average person really is that kinda stupid/deliberately ignorant that sometimes you really do just gotta say it rather than leave it up to interpretation.

This was pain and suffering but it was worth.

Let's real, Grok was only *a* reason BSky people are like that. The Twitter userbase being allowed and encouraged to be Neo-Nazis with zero repercussions is another pretty big one, alongside deliberately breaking features to appease Daddy Elon's feelings.

Namine is of the same phenomenon, but even more "really shouldn't exist" tier since Kairi *shouldn't* be able to fall darkness, but circumstances related to Sora releasing both their hearts made it so she could.

It's never been stated in game, but yeah, Roxas and Namine are two particularly special cases. Roxas is more normal in the sense that Sora having a body post heartless-ing is due to Kairi's princess of heart powers, Roxas is still his "proper body" as it were.

... with the amount of vibe-coded garbage that barely works flooding the internet, you'll have to forgive me if I side-eye any repository with Claude or the like as a major contributor.

I also think "it works, so it's fine" is short sided mindset and only really able to thrive in a modern context bc most machines are able to brute-force through slop code, until it isn't. There is an argument to be made about smart and thoughtful automation, sure, but...

I just think thoughtless automation is bad, regardless of the fact that math and logic *are* artforms that humans have spent centuries willingly cultivating and exploring simply bc they like and are passionate about it.
am i evil for thinking hate for LLMS in coding is really performative . ai art is bad because art without human intent is no longer art ... code is not an art form , at least not in my eyes, so why get so mad about its presence if it works just fine

Easily replaceable batteries are always a plus, but Switch Pro Controllers having an absurdly long battery life is a good trade off tbh.

Btw that entire last thread came seeing posts from a guy delegate building a fantasy sports to an AI bc he felt "societal obligation" to engage in that sphere, alongside a guy replying an AI should be good at it since it's all just math. Actual soul-less, joy-less dweebs.

The act of boiling ability and situational feats down to numbers to do math that determines "which subject is better" will never not be boring to me since I care way more about themes and narrative. However, I respect letting people have hobbies I don't necessarily care for.

Tbf these are not hard lines to connect at all if you already approach the idea there is very little difference between sports fandom and any other type, with that being deeply ingrained cultural mainstream acceptance.

Had the revelation that "powerscaler son" and "fantasy sports guy" are actually the same kind of guy and now everything makes so much more sense.
