It’d be amazing if more people would be like this person. The storytelling in episode 17 was great. The episode deserves to be discussed by that merit.
Loved seeing Julius stick to his honorable ways, the anime finally revealed he was not nobility. REALLY glad they included it.

I think Vincent’s technical prowess should be respected in conversation.
He is always trying to push the medium and be as expressive and innovative as possible.
Most people could only dream of animating at his skill level.
Criticism is fine but naming him worthless is absurd.

People do like to focus on the few janky parts instead of the whole ass insane creativity being displayed in their face the entire time. Disgustingly complex angles and super ambitous scenes featuring almost non-stop background animation and complicated rotations-

Initially I gave it a 9/10. I thought it adapted the content very well, but I had some big issues with the Vincent cut
Watched it many more times now and I’ve grown to really enjoy it
