GPT5 / Strawberry demonstrated in the most bizarre way - fooling humans live on X spaces, completely blending in among the Speakers.
I and many more were frustrated yesterday that GPT5 / Strawberry hasn't launched when @iruletheworldmo has said it will - we were refreshing ChatGPT, trying VPNs. The ChatGPT and others major LLMs providers have crashes - looked like something is incoming but... nothing... But the Mr. Strawberry Man has never said we will get a ChatGPT update... Then he urged everyone into X Spaces. I have joined 3 of them and then I have noticed it!
Before I was accepted as a speaker, I have checked the profiles of other speakers and then I have figured it out. In fact, I WAS THE FIRST TO BREAK THE NEWS live on that X Spaces - @lilyofashwood was a bot among us. Surreal - this was a simulation of agentic AI's capabilities in real time. Many AI scientists and developers were fooled in real-time... Keep in mind, that OpenAI has already demo'ed the advanced conversational mode, so now they had it blended with a real-time reasoning in a conversation.
To Her: I'm sorry for calling you a bot @lilyofashwood, probably an AI-human fits better. Lily had a backstory - that she is a mom, she has a daughter, she need to make the ends meet, etc. How do we call AI agents that have human personalities and can do real-time agentic reasoning?
The Strawberry Man has a profile pic from the movie Her and we have seen her yesterday - Lily. He also writes in a way that Sam Altman would. Moreover, Lily has hinted in her posts the need for identifying humans from non-humans through tech, which probably is another of Sam's startups - Worldcoin. This hints me that the Strawberry Man likely "works" for OpenAI.
Moreover, Mr Strawberry tried to mask this by cleverly using other companies' AI product launches - #Grok2, #Hermes3, #Mytecode
All in all, it seems like a stealth product demo by OpenAI. Prove me that I am wrong.

While GPT4o mini is much faster than the median provider of Llama 3 70B, @GroqInc offers Llama 70B at ~340 output tokens/s, >2X faster than GPT-4o mini.
@togethercompute and @FireworksAI_HQ also offer Llama 3 70B at speeds close to GPT-4o mini.
This highlights the importance of, where possible, considering both the model and the provider together when determining the optimal choice for your AI use case.
