Moldovan border police detained both officers and referred the case to prosecutors for illegal border crossing.
Ukraine calls it an “incident” and has launched an internal investigation.
They went after one border crosser. They ended up becoming border crossers themselves.
Considering that almost everyone influential in Ukrainian politics has some ties to dnepropetrovsk, I think it's fair.
