13 points against one of the worst defenses in college football after putting up 108 points in the previous 2 games.
Complete offensive failure. What a pitiful performance.
South Alabama’s offense FINALLY squeezes out a touchdown and the defense immediately gives one right back to Marshall.
I feel like I’ve seen this movie so many times.
How are we underthrowing a deep receiver and overthrowing a running back that’s still in the backfield???
I still don’t understand why we’re throwing the ball when we gained chunks of yards on three consecutive running plays.
Interception leads to an eventual Marshall touchdown.
Maddening.
I don’t know if it’s game plan, execution, or some combination of both, but this offense is painfully pedestrian.
Either stop throwing it or put someone else in to throw it. What we have right now ain’t working tonight.
Kirby on loss to Auburn… “Auburn played better than us today. Executed better than us today…. At the end of the day we pick it up, everything we want to do is in front of us. I know it’s a big deal to other people but it’s just another game to me… I always say humility is a week away… Every week in this league is a war. Anyone can beat anyone.”
