Modified valsalva: Make sure you have PT exhale for 15 SECONDS and then lift the legs for 15 SECONDS! Not shorter! Then 30SEC have the Pt sit upright! This last part is crucial and usually missed! @ZackRepEM #resusfest

Remember:
1)Do modified valsalva for Pt with AVNRT. It works so why not try it 1st but do it correctly!
2) Consider CCB instead of adenosine to not cause patient discomfort. Works well & less patient discomfort. Consider coffee & asthma hx in adenosine. @ZackRepEM #resusfest
