Today I took my last exam in medical school.
I've been in higher education for 11 years.
I went from a B student in high school to scoring in the top 3% of my peers.
Most people are studying all wrong. Here are 10 study techniques that made me a top performer:

S-tier men’s fashion post
The vast majority of men don't wear tailored clothing often enough to warrant a large wardrobe. Thus, if you're interested in tailored clothing, the easiest way to avoid looking bad is to stick to very simple things:
— One "serious" suit in navy, mid-gray, or dark gray worsted wool. This should be single-breasted with notch lapels. You can wear this to weddings, funerals, religious events, and such.
— One solid-colored navy sport coat made from navy wool, likely hopsack or an open weave such as Mock Leno. This should again be single-breasted with notch lapels. This is the most versatile sport coat. It's the sort of thing you wear on Mother's Day.
— One or two other sport coats, likely mid- to dark brown. Make these from seasonal fabrics suited to your climate: wool-silk-linen if you live in a warm climate; tweed if you live in a colder climate. The fabrics can be patterned, but ask yourself when shopping — is this pattern something that a used car dealer or ESPN host would wear? If so, do not buy the jacket. These again should be single-breasted with notch lapels. Wear this when you want tailoring, but a suit looks out of place.
— One semi-spread collar dress shirt made from a smooth white cotton fabric, such as poplin or broadcloth. Avoid cutaway collars; they are gauche.
— A small stack of light-blue dress shirts — some solid-blue, some blue-white striped. If you're American and have any sense of pride in your country, get Oxford cloth button-downs where the collar points are long enough to give a full roll. If you're not American, or if you're a traitor to the United States, they can be semi-spread collars cut from smooth, pure cotton, such as broadcloth. Although I think end-on-end lends a bit of visual interest.
— A matte silk rep striped tie that's not too visually busy. Get this in a basic, sober color like navy, brown, or forest green. Always tie this with a four-in-hand. Never wear a full Windsor knot or anything too complicated (those weird knots that get lots of upvotes on Reddit).
— Trousers made in a classic cut (high-rise, not too slim). These should be light gray, mid gray, or tan, and then cut from seasonal materials that make sense for your climate — tropical wool for warmer seasons; wool flannel, cavalry twill, or whipcord for cooler seasons. You can get them with flat fronts or a single reverse pleat. Do not ask "are pleats stylish?" In fact, stop asking how to look stylish, young, or fashionable altogether.
— Two pairs of Goodyear-welted, full-grain leather dress shoes in mid or dark brown. These can be derbies or penny loafers, since you'll likely wear sport coats, not suits. (Do not wear oxford shoes with sport coats). Never touch tan leather shoes. Or any dress shoes with a sneaker bottom.
— A leather dress belt that's about 1.25" wide. The color should be close to the color of your shoes — dark brown with dark brown, mid-brown with mid-brown.
— Solid navy over-the-calf dress socks. These can be thin cotton if you live in a warm climate. Otherwise, choose thin wool.
Do not try to get creative. Even sticking with this formula will be creative enough, as no one knows how to wear tailored clothing anymore. Thus, you will look elegant in a sea of bad made-to-measure tailoring, Italian checked fabrics, skinny pants, tan dress shoes, black dress shirts, ugly ties, and the like.
This is such a good feeling... If you are not playing with AI coding in some way you are missing out.
I'm no @marclou, but I've made an app, published it to the App Store, and (the crazy part) TWO PEOPLE have paid for a YEAR!!

Damn that's cool just used claude code + codex computer use + GLI KVM to fix my Linux home-built PC so it could actually use my Apple Studio Display monitor:
- told claude code the problem (it uses tailscale to log into all my 5 computers and talk to eachother)
- had claude code test to see which display ports for working or why note
- figured out it needed a BIOS switch
- accessed GLI KVM to view my linux and click around and use the keyboard
- rebooted my linux PC
- I know am seeing output on my apple studio display!!! All through claude code/codex in terminal
Ok this seems cool, but can someone ELI5 why this is different from cowork or claude code with individual projects/chats??
They just don't stop. Switched all domain and web work as much as I could do Cloudflare ~4 years ago and so happy I did
(not sponsored in any way just love Cloudflare)
Cloudflare OS is an open-source platform that lets everyone in your company build apps, automate work, and safely access internal systems, shaped around what your organization knows and how it operates. cfl.re/4w6ViT0
Interesting differences between US and Japanese pepsi
- phosphoric acid
+ 10 calories
- 2g carbs
Why??
This is awesome but I worry about speed of a Hetzner, my plan is to integrate this as a backup but:
- @theo style kitted out Linux as a command center for agents (GPU)
- Above talks to Mac and home server over tailscale
- KVM and finger robot x3 for above for remote access and rescue
- Hetzner box like @robj3d3 for blackouts and backup that talks to above 3 as well, so if house blows up I can a still code on the toilet or abroad by tailscaling in to Hetzner/termius and Claude is ready and waiting to pull from GitHub and get going
Thoughts?

Take a decision you’ve been putting off, and challenge the fuzzy “what ifs” holding you hostage. If not now, when? If left at the status quo, what will your life and stress look like in six months? In one year? In three years? Who around you will also suffer?
The key to doing anything that seems impossible/new/confusing/whatever is simple:
Be honest.
(With yourself).
If you don’t understand a word, ask AI.
If you don’t understand the explanation that AI gave because the words are too confusing or you don’t know what they mean, ask AI.
The big mistake is believing the foundation of knowledge will come later, when it will take, idk, maybe 60 minutes of prompting and reading AI, to come up to a basic fund of knowledge now for ANYTHING.
You can learn anything.
Which means you can do anything.
Don’t stop, don’t get disheartened, take the dumb feeling and be ok with it. Ask more. Learn more.
Start the hard projects. Embrace uncertainty.
The knowledge is democratized, it’s on you whether you actually take advantage of it.
Oh, and have fun. Don’t learn this stuff because you have to. Learn this stuff because you want to.
Play, tinker, explode, look dumb, look dumb publicly, no one really cares.
All that matters is that you care.
And if you can actually listen to yourself instead of parents/old teachers/bosses/disapproving friends/relatives/old cat ladies, then you can begin to start your life.
But you must act.
You must do it and not just once. Maybe 365 times a year. Post something. Build something. Do something.
Or
You can keep staying comfortable.
Stay at the level of knowledge that has kept you and put you where you are.
And repeat the same actions which will create the same result.
It is your choice.
It won’t be easy.
But, damn, it will be so much more fun.
my new favorite of way of using fable:
step 1. ask it to write a plan
step 2: "please get second opinions from codex CLI using gpt-5.6-sol @ max effort and kimi CLI using kimi 3. Revise your plan with any sound findings. repeat until convergence or up to 5 rounds."
What a birthday present
Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits.
Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit.
Demand for Fable has been challenging to predict, which is why we rolled it out to subscription plans in stages, extending access several times as we secured additional capacity.
One of my favorite prompts for whatever I build is, "Imagine you are grumpy redditor or person on x, how would an annoying person react to this product"
(example is me trying to build a similar thing to @marclou but only for iOS apps) - buildfastt.com
