My butt is so excited for Ides of March. Playing this absolute gem of an album in (mostly) full on the 19th @ blacklist brewing!
For the first time in years I warmed up my Fender Deluxe, tuned my Les Paul to C#, stomped on my fuzz factory and just vibed. Hope my neighbors wanted to drone with me tonight.
Just learned Dan Nigro from As Tall As Lions has helped write all the pop songs I end up gettting stuck in my head from working in a middle school. Man is behind Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan
9th/10th grade had some absolute rippers. Co-sign this whole list. “The pornographer’s daughter” off of Pollyanna is still one of my favorite tracks of the entire genre.
I love this movie to no end. I randomly call people “an inanimate fucking object” quite regularly.
I received three Christmas cards from various people at school that put me in tears.
I often feel like I’m not doing the right thing or not making a difference in the world, but these few words of affirmation at least quell that for a moment.
Explosions In the Sky don’t seem to miss ever. So many great dynamics and little trinkets all over this new record.
Did a reflection of my times seeing (and missing) @ManchesterOrch over the years. A whole lot of growth and joy for nearly two decades.
