(1/2) We had a blast planting the newly regraded banks of the Yeading Brook @ #SpiderPark - the finishing touches on our #riverrestoration project with @Hillingdon supported by the Smarter Water Catchments Initiative with #SWC partners getting muddy & planting >1000 plants!
(2/2) We’ve been working 2 improve the previously degraded, overshaded channel by restoring a more natural shape - giving the river space 2 move & connect with the park, adding gravels + deflectors + wetland plants to help reduce flooding, & improve #waterquality & #biodiversity

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new project, Transforming the Thames, a partnership project led by ZSL and funded by the ELSP. This project will aim to protect and restore over 300ha of coastal habitats in the Greater Thames Estuary by 2030 .
