ZKsync Ignite Claims Window is Closing 6/30/25! 📣
If you have not claimed all of your rewards from Ignite yet, PLEASE CLAIM BY June 30th, 2025!
Ignite concluded on 3/31/25, since then the window for users to claim their ZK rewards has remained open, but it will be closing on 6/30/25 and users will be unable to claim after that date.
Starting on 7/1/25, all unclaimed rewards from ZKsync Ignite will be reclaimed by the DSC & sent to the Token Assembly for use in future governance proposals.

ZKsync Ignite Program Update 📣
After careful consideration, the DeFi Steering Committee (DSC) has decided to not renew Ignite for Season 2 and will be sunsetting the program starting March 17th, 2025 by turning off rewards for period 6
Here's why:
We designed Ignite with the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics for this exact reason and this action is in the best interests of the broader ZKsync & Elastic Network ecosystem.
All remaining rewards will be distributed as planned by Monday, March 17th, 2025. Following that distribution, no new incentives or rewards are planned.
Likewise, all service provider contracts will be fully paid and concluded by March 30th, 2025.

Ignite Lending Markets Update 🔥
Starting in Period 5, we’re making adjustments to how rewards are allocated in lending markets to maintain a fair and sustainable rewards system.
Here’s what’s changing and what it means for you 👇
What Does This Mean for You?
If you’re a normal lender, you’re all good. No changes.
If you’ve been looping hard, the free ride is over. Time to adapt.
@aave, @VenusProtocol and @zerolendxyz users might see a slight delay in reward updates, but everything will be calculated retroactively. No rewards lost.

The Period 5 for the Ignite program has been enabled and APRs are showing in the UI. All deposits until yesterday have been counted and their rewards will be reflected soon.
After careful consideration between the renewed focus on Era serving primarily as a liquidity hub, the analytics on the program and market conditions, the DSC made a tough decision to opt for a more conservative approach to spend until interop is live.
The allocations are as follows:
Total Budget: 5,446,958.45 ZK
- Decrease: -55.96% from Period 4
DEX Budget: 3,435,855.77 ZK (63.08%)
- Decrease: -48.50% from Period 4
Lending Budget: 1,759,128.72 ZK (32.30%)
- Decrease: -65.29% from Period 4
Perps Budget: 251,973.97 ZK (4.63%)
- Decrease: -60.00% from Period 4
Number of Incentivized Pools: 40
