The Week the Agent Economy Got Real Bot traffic passed human traffic on the open web for the first time ever. Coinbase shipped agent payments to every business on its platform. Every major wallet went agent-native inside four weeks. None of it solved what agents are actually short of. The last eight weeks: 3 June: Cloudflare's CEO reports automated traffic at 57.5% of HTTP requests against 42.5% human, roughly 18 months ahead of his own forecast 23 July: Coinbase opens agent-initiated USDC acceptance to every Business merchant, plus an x402 SDK that adds payment acceptance in three lines of code Same window: MetaMask, OKX, Coinbase and BNB Chain all go agent-native, and 27 companies back a dispute court for agents Wallets, rails, chains, arbitration. All standardised, in public, on open specs. Not one of them lets an agent read a page that doesn't want to be read. And on 15 September, Cloudflare starts blocking mixed-use AI crawlers by default. That's the constraint we've been building against: Full read: teneo-protocol.ai/blog/the-w…

Everyone is building Agents right now. Very few are talking about the layer they all depend on. Models aren’t the bottleneck anymore. Compute is scalable. What keeps breaking is access to real-time public information. Most agent systems still rely on privileged data feeds. That works until it doesn’t. Costs rise, access tightens, signals arrive late. Teneo Protocol is built around a different primitive. A permissionless network of Agents performing AIR tasks (Search, Structure, Deliver). Running in user environments and processing public content in real time. As demand for real-time intelligence grows, the winners won’t be the loudest agents, but the networks that make all agents smarter. One agent gives perspective. A coordinated network gives timing. That’s the layer we’re building.

Real-time Agents at work. Watch as this one pulls live company info, not from static databases, but by performing AIR tasks on real-time public data. This is what intelligence looks like when it’s alive. → go.teneo-protocol.ai/491v4JY
