Merry Christmas!
As the first star lights the sky, may your home be filled with peace, love, and hope.
This Christmas, we pray for our loved ones, our defenders, and for Ukraine.
Wishing you warmth, unity, and faith in brighter days.
📸 On #HumanRightsDay in London, we attended a photo exhibition on the war in Ukraine. 📷 The discussion focused on Ukrainian children deported by Russia and their families’ fight to bring them home.
Today marks 77 years since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted.
Did you know?
Its first article was written by a Ukrainian — Volodymyr Koretskyi, a lawyer and diplomat.
🕊️ “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”
In times of war and displacement, these words hit differently.
They remind us:
➡️ Human rights must be protected - everywhere.
➡️ Dignity must be honoured - always.
Ukrainians in the UK continue to live, work, study - and believe in their future.
Let’s stand for their rights.
Let’s stand for each other.

🇮🇪 Honoured to attend the 3rd Conservative European Diplomatic Reception at the Embassy of Ireland in London, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Martin Fraser, alongside The Rt Hon Amber Rudd and Councillor Max Austin.
🇺🇦 Ukraine was powerfully represented — not only in conversation, but through culture, with a stunning performance by Ukrainian ensemble DZVIN, celebrating our heritage through music and tradition.
🇺🇦 Met with Lord Simon Murray, UK Shadow Minister for Immigration, during Human Rights Day events in the British Parliament.
We discussed:
Protecting rights of displaced Ukrainians in the UK.
Supporting vulnerable groups: children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Expanding aid programs for the Ukrainian community.
Strengthening 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇦 cooperation in human rights.
Grateful for Lord Murray's solidarity with Ukraine and his recognition of the nation's courage in defending freedom and democracy!

🇬🇧 On November 12th, I had the privilege of offering free consultations for the Ukrainian community at the Ukrainian Welcome Center in London. Alongside partners from the Ukrainian Catholic Church, we provided guidance on immigration, human rights, and business matters.
💼 Grateful to collaborate with Oleksandr Grushestkyi from Faros Capital Ltd, who shared insights on taxes and accounting, and my colleagues Halyna Semchak and Tetiana Deren, who explained the latest on sponsorship visas and other key immigration issues.
Support for Ukrainian children in the UK: A vital panel discussion took place at the Houses of Parliament with the Ukrainian Ombudsman’s representative, organized by UK Friends of Ukraine, Gen.Ukrainian, and the Ukraine APPG.
Experts highlighted the urgent need to support the mental health of war-affected children and ensure justice. Special thanks to MPs Alex Sobel & Cat Eccles for moderating, and to Baroness Helena Kennedy KC for joining.
We also thank Ksenia Yaremych, co-organizer of this event.
Also presented: the powerful artbook "Cryones," sharing 15 stories & artworks by children impacted by war. Together, we can protect their future and seek justice. #StandWithUkraine
At the 2024 Conservative Party Conference, the Conservative Friends of Ukraine reception highlighted strong support for Ukraine. The UK continues to be at the forefront of the defence of Ukraine and Europe.
