Klara and The Sun (2026 Film) I'm no fan of the film critic Peter Bradshaw who writes for the Guardian and today I have two corkers where we are at complete polar opposites. He says 'Taika Waititi’s manic pixie dream robot sci-fi is a sentimental mess...twee, tiresome tale of love and grief...unbearably mannered, unspeakably acted film.' I say 'A witty, exaggerated other world that looks beautiful but underneath lies a dystopian hell of deception where people live out lives as artificial as the robots. (And that's the point of the novel.) The acting is great (come-on it has Jenna Ortega, Amy Adams, Mia Tharia, Aran Murphy, Steve Buscemi, Natasha Lyonn), and the relationships tenderly explored. Do see it!!!!
