Jaylen Brown’s sneak dissing Jayson Tatum while talking to Lil Baby 💀:
“I didn’t play to win no award. They gave me the MV — they gave me two MVPs, by the way. When I won, I was never expecting it, I didn’t care about that. Even after that that, I told everybody that like ‘it mattered way more to some people than it ever mattered to me’. So when I won you could see on my face that I was shocked. Cause it didn’t change no reaction if anyone else would’ve won. But that don’t always be the case, when the shoe was on the other foot. So to get that award, and it’s named after Bill Russell, the Bill Russell Finals MVP, and Bill Russell is someone that lived in Boston that dealt with a lot of bullshit when he was here. He used to stand up for what he believed in and people treated him like shit.”
JB fried Tatum 😭😭😭

This is why I expected a major step back by the Boston Celtics this season.
Jaylen Brown > Jayson Tatum
He was the heart and soul of the Celtics. Tatum is the one they want to be the face of the team, so they got rid of Brown to accommodate that happening. I feel Tatum is jealous that Jaylen won both MVPs during their championship run because he could have stopped any trade with his voice.
Tatum wanted him gone, or he would still be there. That simple. Now people are about to see what I already know: Brown was the key to their success. Tatum will fold when you need him the most, exactly like Paul George.
Jaylen Brown on winning Finals MVP:
"I think one of my highest moments in just winning a championship. I didn't play to win no award, when they gave me the MVP, they gave me 2 MVPs by the way, just for those, you know what I mean. But when I won, I was never expecting that. I didn't care nothing about that... It mattered way more to some people than it ever mattered to me. So when I won, you could see in my face that I was shocked. Cause it didn't change no reaction if anybody else would have won. But that don't always be the case when the shoe was on the other foot."
