Source: New York’s minimum wage will hit $17 by 2026 in the New York City area, upstate counties by 2028 and then linked to inflation. Wage will increase 50 cents a year until hitting $17. Upstate wage increase 80 cents in year one, 50 cents after. Increases begin 2024.
