One of the stranger things about Mets Peralta discourse is that if they had at midseason traded Sproat/Williams for Pitre/Smith/Gill Hill, it would have been a good trade. Pitre is now the most valuable player in the group of five imo. And that’s ultimately the exchange for them.

Bought a card for $290 earlier this year. Comps went as low as $230 mine just sold on eBay for $410. Not a huge win by any means BUT if I was to take to a dealer at a card show I probably get $200. Sometimes it is best to list on eBay and be patient (if its rare enough).

i have thought about this tweet since he posted it. Read it, and let it sink in. He sold ALL of the PSA slabs he had and NO SGC/BGS. Hate PSA all you want, but they are what the people want.

This was only my 4th show but it was by far the most successful. I sold every single PSA slab I had and didn't sell a single SGC or Beckett slab. Still difficult to move raw vintage so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and send a bunch to PSA.

I really believe the conversation about rings and legacy is overrated. Throw judge or trout on the dodgers and they win multiple rings. Very situational. Also why I think lebrons Cleveland ring is one of the most impressive.
