Will they survive?!? Fourth graders got to test out their attribute growth with our survival game this week! Using limited materials, they had to innovate and create items they would need to survive on an island. Water filters were a fave! #ourBMSA
Innovative fun bubbling up today in our second hive this week! Students designed and constructed bubble wands from 3-D pens, and of course we had to test them out! 馃 #ourBMSA
Say what?! Goldilocks was framed?! These Hive-Goers got to look closely at some incriminating evidence against another certain make-believe character today during our Maker Mystery Hive time! I guess the slipper is on the other foot now馃暤 #ourBMSA
It's good to bee at Bio-Med! 馃ス #TeacherAppreciation #ourBMSA
Attention is currency, especially in education. Teaching students how to harness their attention and choose where they put it is crucial in building personal agency and increasing engagement. Our little singing bowl holds such power in doing that, and the kiddos love it! #ourBMSA
Fourth graders took their effective communication skills to the next level this week by focusing on the importance of body language, eye contact and supporting evidence when delivering their opinions. They just might have convinced me to get a class pet! #ourBMSA
Kinders and first grade delved into effective communication today with a listening walk, sharpening their listening and awareness skills by honing in on the sounds around them. #ourBMSA
Do you speak roly poly? These first graders do! By learning how to read body language and understanding the ways in which people communicate, they can meet anyone (big or small) where they're at! #effectivecommunication #ourBMSA
