✅ All checks out.
Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀
We are not forking TypeScript!
◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team
◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory
◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers
◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain

It's exciting to see young and old learn guitar for the first time. I hope by hearing the chord along with finger positions (+ a dash of fun visuals) helps 🎸
Now available for iPhone, iPad, and Duo,
as well as Android (including foldables).

Guitar Pocketbook, my first iPhone Duo app.
- AVAudioEngine graph in TypeScript
- Folding drives the mix (reverb and tone)
- Hinge glows with audio frequency
- WebGPU (metal) handles all visual fx
Built with @NativeScript

Been experimenting with turning Nuxt app into actual native mobile app using @NativeScript
The idea is to take an existing Nuxt app and run it natively on iOS/Android, without rewriting everything. Just by adding some directives and composables. Thanks to the work of @triniwiz and his masonkit
Especially considering how this could work with Vue Vapor and its smaller runtime
Still early, but here's the first preview 👀
@nuxt_js @vuejs #crossplatform #nativeapps
And the exact same code running as a native Windows app.
Starter template if you want to poke at it: github.com/triniwiz/nativesc… 🚧
Wanted to test how web-compatible MasonKit (a little layout lib I've been building for @NativeScript) really is, so I threw shadcn/ui at it.
Same React components → real native views. No WebView.

New tagline: "Native apps on any platform. Write it once, ship faster, spend less tokens. Hot reloading. React-like frontend. Vite + NativeScript + Octane JSX."
Replying to @blazejkustra_ @swmansion
Keep an eye on github.com/octane-xplat/octa… as a nascent contender. Octane JSX (super fast React-like), NativeScript (native HMR). Supports web, iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux with one codebase. Still in early access. AI-assisted PRs welcome!

Foldables, tested end to end.
A native @angular app on iPhone Duo, driven by @TesterArmy's e2e, hinge included.
Take it for a spin 👇

Introducing e2e
The agentic testing framework for any app
~/ npx e2e init
→ Fully Open Source
→ Mix deterministic and agentic APIs
→ Supports web, mobile, and more
→ Bring your own agent and infrastructure
→ Run locally or in CI

A little @threejs pet rendered natively on Android with @nativescript /canvas!
What should I make it do?

Yes, NativeScript runs its JavaScript on the main thread, so a spring stepped by CADisplayLink in TypeScript does what SwiftUI's animations do: each frame's value is computed in the app process and committed to the layer. Nothing goes through the render server.
See this side-by-side showing the same interruptible interactions and also this gist for deeper explanation: gist.github.com/NathanWalker…
Love to see NativeScript canvas uses in the wild. It brings joy to my heart as I've been working on this project over 7yrs, adding support for all the drawing APIs (2D- webgpu) the web supports and ensuring it offers top notch performance. I even released a fame built with it.
Some have asked why not develop it in SwiftUI? I actually love Swift in general. The reason I used @NativeScript is because I plan to deploy this to Android foldables as well.
Here it is on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
Angular v2.0 dropped on Sept 15, 2016 - marking 10 years of modern Angular last week 🥳✨
A decade of shared growth, transformative updates, and millions of apps shipped worldwide.

A little peak of the new layout system for @NativeScript powered by Taffy 🦀. The goal bring web-standard syntax to NativeScript with little to no code changes.
This is insane! NativeScript really has no boundaries 😮🤯
