Last week, @framer launched Switch to help Framer Experts move more client sites to Framer. Each approved site gets 50K AI credits towards the migration. Here is a quick recap - around Cape Town! 🇿🇦
Framer Switch Recap in 90s
Framer Switch helps Framer Experts move more client sites to Framer.
Caught up with @masonwenlaunch about a big WordPress migration he did. One of many vids upcoming. So many cool takeaways!
Migrating 10 years of blog posts could take weeks. For @RED’s 20th anniversary site, @masonwenlaunch let the Framer Agent handle it so he could focus on the creative work.
10 years of content, migrated to Framer
Remember recording a dozen Loom videos for a client handover (and then they didn't watch them!). There is an new onboarding pattern I'm seeing that isn't really coined yet...
While @Fuzzco was still building the site, the @typesafeai team could already jump into Framer, create branches, build their own pages, and use the Framer Agent whenever they needed help.

The @typesafeai site came together in just 4 days, with the final videos landing the night before launch. Rachel from @Fuzzco breaks down how they shipped it and where the Framer Agent helped along the way.

After two years as an Engineering Manager at Stripe, I've decided it's time to get back to startups. Some reflections on the journey so far, what I've learned, and what comes next.

Inter is having impact beyond my wildest dreams.
When I started working on Inter ten years ago, I didn’t even expect it to survive the prototyping stage. Now it’s used by governments (including Switzerland, which is ironic in a way) and non-profit organizations around the world, bringing good typography to the people.
It warms my heart to see so many young designers being able to express themselves in “Swiss style” without the need to break any laws.
When I was a kid and an aspiring graphic designer, I could barely afford food and definitely did not have the money to buy font licenses. I wish Inter had existed back then.
Inter font is so popular these days on @googlefonts. Designed by @rsms, did you know at the beginning it was launched under the name "Interface" before being renamed to "Inter UI" and eventually shortened to just "Inter"?
Well, this is a big one.
After nearly two decades working solo, I’m joining @Framer full-time!
The timing couldn’t feel more right. One Page Love has a new home, I’m ready for a new chapter, and I get to spend it being creative and building alongside one of the most impressive teams on the internet.
Today is my first day, and I couldn’t be more stoked 🤙

for me it was @mds 🫶
he gave me the jump start I needed (and the desire to play that role for others)
crazy how a single tweet can change the trajectory of your life like that...
after reading this section of Josh's post I want to publicly thank @pugson for opening doors for me.
i was stuck looking in from the outside of this space for >10 years until he opened doors for me. i wouldn't be where i am without him and his noticing of how much i love building things.
ty puggy, you're the best ❤️

Don’t make any plans for Feb 28 - March 2, 2027.
It’s going to be an EPIC few days you won’t want to miss.

Huge personal news ❤️
9,061 One Pagers later, @OnePageLove was acquired by Some Studio, led by @PietTerheyden
Piet is a prolific builder with a fantastic track record in website curation, so I couldn't be more stoked knowing OPL is in careful hands. He spent years building @minimal_gallery before its acquisition and today continues to run the beautiful design publication, @minimalissimo
I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the One Page Love journey over the years.
Who would've thought this little niche gallery I started back in 2008 would take me around the world, open so many doors, and lead to countless conversations that turned strangers into lifelong friends.
As for me, it's time for a brand new adventure, and I can't wait to share it with you soon...

The people getting great UI results with AI aren’t using a secret model or a magic prompt. They know what a great interface looks like, and they know how to steer AI towards it.
Work that used to take a week takes a day, and the quality bar doesn’t drop, it goes up, because you spend your time on the things that matter.
At the end of the day, people that use AI best are the ones that were excellent before LLMs as well. The ones that got the fundamentals right, went that extra mile, and cared about the thing they were working on.
