The thing with James Gunn is he's never been faithful to any comic he adapts & nobody gaf before cause he was working with niche characters but the pass he used to get does NOT work on household names and he's finding out the hard way
James Gunn is coping like somebody who know they dun fucked up. #Lanterns

The only Batman in live action (so far) who's dealt with human criminals, monsters and extraterrestrial threats. One of the reasons why he's my favorite. He's great blend of the comics as a whole.
Imagina ser fan del murciélago y odiar al único Batman que luce y se mueve como Batman. 🤌

So everything us "Snyderbros" said was correct from the beginning but weve had a decade of hatred because the Internet worshiped at the feet of Whedon and believed the trades whom were in WB's pocket.
Zack Snyder has never seen Joss Whedon's "Justice League" and reflects on the DC Universe being taken away from him: "There was a point when ['Justice League'] was released that was a low point for me because the pile-on effect was so insane. Not only did I lose my daughter, but also they’ve released this version of the movie that I had nothing to do with and my name is on a movie that I didn’t make." "I met with this executive at Warner Bros. and he said to me, 'You know, Zack, I’ve got to tell you one thing: You were right about everything.' And I was like, 'That’s kind of you.' And he goes, 'We were fighting you, and in the end you were right'... [They were fighting me on the] whole vision for the DC universe and the way I made movies and everything. They did this attempt to control it — and I’m just talking about the regime that was there that’s no longer there. They had this massive IP that’s worth a ton and I can understand wanting to protect it as best they could since all their jobs depended on it working, and they’d put it in the hands of a madman — or so they thought — so the part of them thinking that, and this is going to sound horrible, 'This thing that happened to Zack is a window for us to take the movie back now.'" wp.me/pc8uak-1lHKvW

It might be the worst live action version of the DC Universe 🤷🏾‍♂️. I hate cw and I would pick CW over this.
what DCU take would have you like this?

Long story short The Studio heads over at WB wanted Snyder gone, not because his movies didn’t sell(they did), but because they didn’t do as much as the later MCU films they were up against. They thought that if they emulated the MCU, they would also attain the same box office numbers, but Snyder refused, he wanted to stick to his vision. So when Snyder’s daughter died and he couldn’t finish JL they used that as a way to get rid of him and hired a Marvel director to reshoot the film(sounds familiar?) That film also underperformed though, despite its MCUification. Infact, the weird flip is tone is one of the many reasons why people hated that film. This meddling led to friction between the Snyder camp and the producers over at WB, specifically Geoff Johns who seemingly wanted to mold the DCEU in his vision and also rumored to have leaked the plans for BvS to Kevin Feige. Also, The Hollywood media was 100% on the MCU train during that period because it was THE hot thing. Put aside the blatant hit pieces with stories planted by moles over at WB, Snyder’s movies were never really given a fair shake from the media simply because they dared to be different from the kind of CBM the MCU popularized. Critics, like regular people, are influenced by trends. The MCU action comedy type film was the trend. If Released under a different climate, they would be reviewed differently. Lastly, Years after BvS supposedly “destroyed the brand” Dc films like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Joker made up to a billion dollars. Though the further DC moved AWAY from those characters and the tone established in that universe, the more DC films began to flop at the box office. Makes you wonder… maybe they shouldn’t have tried to emulate the MCU? There’s a lot that I probably didn’t mention but this is simply a story of where greed, impatience and the quest for power led a company to ruin. WB would love to get those Snyder box office number now, if they could. That’s how bad it is

There was a time where we were about to get Darkseid vs the justice league/atlantis/amazon & Batman vs deathstroke smh
The People Vs Gorilla Grodd, the new show from DC Studios, is coming to HBO Max. Our first foray into the true crime genre.  From the creators of American Vandal, starring Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy Tatro as Gorilla Grodd, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, & Wendell Pierce as Perry White. Additional cast includes Mary Holland, Eduardo Franco, Dan Perrault & Arian Moayed. Along with Lanterns, this was one of the shows Peter & I pitched to WBD before we came on board. With Tony and Dan at the helm, it's something truly special.
