Not an expert on this subject but had the same impression of the article. It sounds like the yeshivas do provide a rigorous education, just not the kind that NYS tests for. So NYT is going after yeshivas after 2 years of cheerleading lockdowns, the destruction of public education

Where we live, your child must receive vaccinations against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, mumps, measles, rubella, polio, Haemophilus influenza type (Hib), hepatitis B, and varicella in order to attend school. Don't remember any big fight over these.
Good news is that people are learning to not trust doctors so much. A few good ones (surgeons especially) but overall it’s a corrupt profession of pill salespeople. 5 minutes for a visit, here take the pills the nice lady told me to prescribe, and that’s your healthcare. Bye-bye.

Why? If vaccination is meant to protect the person who vaccinates, it is that person's business; if it is meant to protect other people who are unvaccinated, they have all had the opportunity to vaccinate. If you're vaccinated, you shouldn't care.

The FDA should not approve the covid vaccines. There are too many reports of infection & spread of #COVID19 among vaccinated people. These vaccines are failing & do not reduce the spread of the virus & neither do masks. Vaccine mandates & passports violate individual freedoms.
Nothing to worry about folks! The guy who was always overly pessimistic before vaccines, is now super optimistic about the effectiveness of the vaccines... which just happen to be made by a company which pays him a lot of money!
