The worst thing about the buses story is the way the BBC embraced the extreme language used by McGills against the FM and the lack of condemnation from Scottish Labour given it comes from a major donor.
Imagine Burnham being compared to murderous dictators by an SNP donor. The BBC would immediately go after John Swinney to ask him if he condemned the remarks. The whole narrative would be about the extreme language from a major SNP donor.
Not in this case though because the target is the SNP and not Labour. Indeed, the fact that McGills is owned by donors to the Scottish Labour party is absent from BBC Scotland coverage. The story is being politically managed to remove any fallout that might harm Labour.

Prior to the 2024 general election BBC Scotland headlined calls for Scottish buses to be taken back into public ownership. The call came from a think tank called Centre for Cities and a Glasgow campaign group. Why are neither on BBC Scotland this morning?
Interestingly, Centre for Cities turned up on BBC Scotland earlier this year calling for elected mayors in Scottish cities - and singled out Glasgow.
Israeli Defense Minister Katz on Lebanon:
'60 villages destroyed. 23,000 houses demolished. 200,000 residents gone. This is the Gaza model, and this is the model we are implementing.'
Just a Minister of Defense proudly listing the villages he erased and the 200,000 people he displaced
They've stopped hiding it

Remember, there's no high-speed rail line from Scotland to England and no passenger route to Europe.
But there are 3 interconnectors for our power. – at Wishaw, Scotland

This is a nonsense statement from Marra. How can you ask Downing Street for powers to be devolved out of Holyrood when the PM has no authority to do so?
Moreover, what Marra *actually* promised was more powers from Westminster to Holyrood. He said it clearly to the BBC.

SNP conference weekend ... Andy Burnham ... Andy Burnham ... Andy Burnham.
The whole station should be closed down.

It's BritNat Day at BBC Scotland. BritNat Breakfast has given us Douglas Alexander, Douglas Ross and former Labour advisor Sonia Sodha variously attacking the SNP and praising Andy Burnham and Kemi Badenoch. The Radio BritNat phone-in is pushing Burnham's message as well.
Note how easily BBC Scotland has changed the meaning of more devolution. It's always meant power from London to Scotland. Not anymore.
The SNP conference? BBC BritNat doesn't care about that. They've got the TV licence and they'll do as they please.

Hopefully the penny drops with Scottish voters that Scotland is being used as a dumping ground for nukes, assorted munitions and nuclear stations whilst our oil, gas and renewable electricity is siphoned off. House Jocks like Alexander are self-serving placemen for London.

It’s really quite telling that MI5 lists the states currently posing a threat to our democracy…and somehow Israel isn’t on it. #C4News

Thousands of children are being treated in NHS corridors and waiting rooms across England. One child died after being sat in a chair in a London hospital corridor for nine hours. Remember this the next time BBC Scotland and Labour politicians tell you the English NHS is better.

Energy bills are also going up, so too are food prices. Pensions won't be going up by as much as they would have.
