WSJ: A Princeton PhD in chemical engineering applied to 2,300 jobs, ranging from postdoctoral fellowships to corporate science jobs and software engineering positions. He still hasn’t found a job. 34% of Americans surveyed by Gallup in August said it was a good time to find a quality job.
Meanwhile, Congress is fixated on finding a way to pass a bill that staples green cards to any international student who earns a PhD in the United States.
We should start by asking why our own graduates can’t find jobs before importing more workers.

Since Archbishop Fulton Sheen was beatified, I have been asking his help to intercede for our Church, to thwart the large LGBTQ+ contingent that is hell bent on altering the Church's Dogmas on human sexuality, the Sacrament of Marriage and the family. Blessed Fulton Sheen pray for us!

Omg. I just had quite an experience at the CVS pharmacy. An older lady, probably around my mom's age (74) she there to recieve her seasonal shots. As I was standing in the checkout line I heard the pharmacist say this one is your pneumococcal shot, this one is your influenza shot, and this one is your covid shot. After the pharmacist injected the 3rd shot she began having tremors (not seizures) and fell out of her seat, smacked her head on the floor. I get out of line and down on the floor while they were calling EMS. HOLY SHIT. She wasn't breathing, but had a strong pulse around 86. I've always made it a habit to carry a pocket face mask with me, I asked a guy in line to get on the floor and directed him how to hold c spine correctly. I gave rescue breaths until the Paramedics arrived (I know the whole crew) as they are putting the bvm together, I'm still giving rescue breaths. They have her hooked up to the cardiac monitor. Heart rate and 12 lead are unremarkable, , they opted to intubate her before transfering her to the gurney, while another medic started an IV. They left CVS 10-18 (emergency traffic) I just recieved a call that this 6 echo call (not breathing) turned into a 9 echo (full cardiac arrest) I'm praying they get her back🙏🏻

Vitamin C inhibits the artery calcification process.
Cells given more vitamin C accumulated ~20% less calcium and:
➥ ~80% reduction in ALP activity (promotes calcification)
➥ Reduced osteocalcin, osteoadherin, and other proteins involved in calcium accumulation
People with the highest vitamin C blood levels (top 20%) have roughly HALF the risk of cardiovascular death vs the bottom 20%.
Vitamin C shrinks arterial plaques in clinical trial.
The picture below shows improvements in under 4 months.
500 mg 3 times daily in people with heart disease - 6/10 people had reduced plaques, while none in control did.
Vitamin C has several cardioprotective effects:
➞ Antioxidant
➞ Anti-inflammatory
➞ Collagen supporting
➞ Cholesterol lowering

One of the greatest moments in Capitol history.
When Laura Loomer attempted to disrupt a hearing, Missouri Rep. Bill Long, who is a real auctioneer, began calling a fake auction to drown her out until she was escorted her out.
He then yields to laughter.

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon reveals that the massive medical bill totals insurance companies send to you are really “fictitious numbers” that don’t represent real money anyone is being paid
He just did a surgery for a patient, the insurance company said the procedure cost $170,000. The patient gets a bill and thinks that’s coming from the doctors office, it’s not
The bill is coming from the insurance company, on the $170,000 bill for the surgery his office only gets paid $2,000
So he says none of this makes any sense because none of these huge bills are actually ever paid to anyone
“The procedure was approved by insurance and it led to, according to their billing statements, $170,000 claimed. The total hospital billing for which our practice was reimbursed, $2,000.
So just amazing, the bizarre discrepancy. And where does the rest of it all go? Fortunately, you know, this patient doesn't account for nearly that amount for their payment because their insurance does cover a significant portion of that as well as it not actually total billed to that amount. But it just illustrates some of the madness that there is in healthcare billing practices, because one, nobody knows what the bills are before we do them, including doctors. We have no idea
And then patients get this astronomical number that is really kind of a fictitious number that doesn't get represented by real money that anyone collects”
This sounds like a racket and outright fraud. How do the insurance companies getting away with it

Great advice.
If your house already has coaxial (TV/cable/DTH) wiring in the walls, you can plug MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) adapters at each end (router side + device side).
Many homes (especially in the US & parts of Europe) have coax jacks in multiple rooms so this adapter basically lets you repurpose the old TV cables in your home into a high-speed wired backbone
Also, MoCA is very different from PLC (Power Line Communication)
PLC forces data through your electrical wiring creating dirty electricity & turning your whole grid into a noisy antenna.
MoCA runs over shielded coax lines that were built to carry high-frequency signals.
That means:
- No dirty electricity riding on your 50/60 Hz lines.
- Less interference
- Faster speeds
In fact, the latest MoCA 2.5 standard can deliver up to 2.5 Gbps across your coax network.
If you’ve ever wished for WIRED connections in every room without tearing open walls, MoCA is the hidden upgrade sitting in your house right now.
Replying to @ze_rusty
For those who want ethernet, but don't want to have wires laying around, you can hook ethernet up to the coax cables in your home, using the wires in the walls, and get adaptors for each room.

Elgin Community College asked Flock to cancel their camera contract to protect students. Flock said no.
They offered to pay out the remaining term just to get the cameras removed. Flock ghosted them.
Staff then covered the cameras with trash bags. Unmarked cars kept showing up and ripping the covers off—until the contract finally expired.
Flock owns the hardware on your property and decides when (or if) it leaves. This is the surveillance state in action.

A rare sight in the sky over France! Photographer Florian Riou captured stunning red sprites flashing high above a powerful thunderstorm. ⚡
A sprite is a large discharge of electricity high in the atmosphere miles above a thunderstorm that can extend almost to the edge of space, which is considered to be around 62 miles above the Earth's surface. These flashes last only milliseconds.
