equip more students with the necessary gender equality knowledge. The Gender clubs’ representatives come from six government schools in Addis Ababa and work to challenge gender norms at their school by providing information and creating solidarity.

Above all, we appreciated their efforts in creating male student allies so as to ensure a future where gender equality is not only women’s, but everyone’s issue. As women’s rights advocates and their mentors, we recognize the potential and impact Gender clubs have on women.
