Had the pleasure of judging BUILD IRL last weekend, a one-day hackathon by @superteamIE + Claude Builder Club @tcddublin Really impressed by the talent, products and ideas presented. Congrats to the winners 🏆 and shoutout to all 24 teams and ~100 participant who gave up a sunny Saturday to show up and build. Looking forward to seeing some of these ideas go further.

An interesting stat about @ycombinator : A 2025 analysis by Palle Broe found that 25–50% of companies in its mature batches had been acquired. An earlier @PitchBook study states 4.5% of YC-backed companies became billion-dollar companies. It's pretty remarkable.
