Sandy Lane Year 2

Year 2 have been learning about the FA Cup and @BracknellTownFC We made some good luck cards to wish you all the success for tonight. Come on you Robins!

All Year 2 pupils should now have their log in for Sum dog and be completing their diagnostic tests and home learning. If you have not yet received it please let us know.

Your child now has their sumdog login. This is where their maths home learning is set. There is also a diagnostic check for them to complete independently.

What an exciting day we had in year 2 with the visits of the Mayor and the meerkats. So very proud of how well all the children behaved and embraced the day.

Reminders - school uniform on the top half tomorrow please. Animal experience on Friday please make sure all forms returned. Thanks

All year 2s will need a 2 litre empty bottle for Friday please. Any spares would be welcome.

Year 2 need your plastic bottle lids for a project we will be working on next term. Please could you start keeping them for us and drop off after Easter, Thanks

Hope you all have an enjoyable holiday. Well done for all your hard work this term. Thank you for your kind words and gifts today.

Well done Hummingbirds, 3rd in the Sumdog competition. Come on Kingfishers - keep up!

Both the Kingfishers and the Hummingbirds need more players for us to qualify for the Bracknell Sumdog tournament. Let's get going!

Reminder! It’s World Book Day today at Sandy Lane - don’t forget to dress up! 🌍📖

Kingfishers remember to use the online resources to help with your learning - bug club, sumdog and TTRS are fun ways to enjoy what we are covering in school.

Looking forward to seeing all the lovely Year 2s soon! Reminder: it's Wednesday so it's PE day 🏀🏓🤸

We are so proud of the Year 2s for their hard work this term - we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the happiest new year! Keep safe and rest up and we will see you soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
