The Year One children were set a writing task today about rainbows π. These were too good not to share - so proud of their kindness and thoughtfulness and positivity. These children are just 5 and 6 years old and their writing is wonderful. Amazing home learning πππ
Hereβs our wonderful βLiving in the Stoneageβ song. We recorded this due to the postponement of Skylarkβs assembly. Thanks to the Kingfishers for singing with us too. Enjoy π
Forest School Fridays are so much fun! We read stories, gathered materials and made our own paintbrushes today. Then we painted pictures and stories as they would have in the Stoneage. After lunch we had a scavenger hunt with Y6! π π π
Children are invited to bring in their favourite book, on any day, next week to share during book week. Love reading! ππ
Kingfisher Class embraced the rain with a swamp walk and some frog spotting at the pond πΈβοΈπ

Kingfisher class enjoyed following a map and using compass directions to get to different places. A great Forest School day π³πΏβοΈπΊ
Thank you to our Year One Kingfisher class who performed their delightful class assembly today. Clear voices, great confidence and a wealth of knowledge about The Great Fire of London and Fire Safety. A brilliant effort from everyone.
A brilliant Forest School morning looking at and learning about a compass. Playing NSEW games and finding different places on a map. Even had time for story telling in the teepee βΊοΈππΎπ³
