I spent years traveling NJ, playing all the public courses. Now, I'll be doing it again with a mobile golf sim businesses I've launched w/ a friend.
1st event is this Friday. Would love if you could come out and support us, but if not, I'd appreciate you spreading the word 🙏

We love this image of Redan!😍
I was fortunate to play or walk the @NorthBerwick_GC Redan most nights for the past week+.
It’s challenging. It’s beautiful. It’s my favorite par 3 in golf. The Original🏴

LIV's first Fox numbers (54k on FS1, 31K on FS2) were so small, folks are arguing ***Nielsen*** isn't a relevant tool for assessing viewership.
Legendary goalpost moving. Stop the count!

Hackensack Golf Club, Oradell, NJ.
Situated on a plot of land that I must've passed 100 times in my life, I never knew this Golden Age gem existed.
Huge thanks to and awesome to be out with @YeahClickClack and @James_Surico again!

Somerset Hills, one of the first A.W. Tillinghast designs, is the most fun I’ve had on a golf course. A fairly open front half is contrasted with a woodland closing nine that is 💯 the best I’ve ever played. Demonically tough, yet fun greens juxtaposed with perfect conditions.

Hamilton Farm (Highlands) is a wonderful Hurdzan/Fry modern design in Jersey that feels like it’s been there a hundred years. Beautifully sculpted in very interesting topography, the Par-5s in particular are a standout. Excellent amenities & an awesome vibe. Pleasantly surprised.

Country Club of Scranton
1927 - Walter Travis
Drove 7 hours from Toledo to play this classic and it did not disappoint!
The show stealers here are the Travis trademark greens. They are wicked! The internal contours cause havoc and make even short putts a challenge.
There is a distinct two parcels of land, the main parcel you see from the clubhouse which provides an an amazing panorama and a separate section section across a road that is tighter and has more trees.
The routing flows between the two sections and up and down the hills superbly. The holes never feel repetitive and the course views are spectacular thanks to tree removal.
Scranton is a classic gem and just a small restoration away from being mentioned amongst the most elite courses in the USA. Awesome course and club.

Truly grateful to have played some incredible courses with good friends in @BryanTweed16 and @YeahClickClack this past week.
I feel like I'm still waking up from a dream.

Plainfield CC in Edison, NJ is a phenomenal Donald Ross design that was Gil Hanse’s first solo restoration. Much more undulation & severe topography than I was expecting; excellent Par-4 variety, fun Par-3s & a fabulous closing stretch. Easily a Top 5 Ross course I’ve played.

Baltusrol (Upper) is a great compliment to the notorious Lower course. Another excellent Tillinghast design that isn’t quite as memorable or picturesque as its sibling, but several holes on the back are fantastic. Fun, undulating greens & strong Par-3s. Excited for Hanse’s work.

Baltusrol (Lower) is unequivocally a Top 5 course I’ve ever played. This 1918 A.W. Tillinghast design was beautifully restored by Gil Hanse in 2019. The stretch of holes 3-5 is one of my favorites in golf & the closing finish is phenomenal! Awesome bunkering & fantastic greens.
