Canada's Prime Minister hired a Hillary Clinton staffer.
In July, Carney named Maia Johnson the first Chief Operating Officer in the history of the Prime Minister's Office.
She ran scheduling for Clinton's 2016 campaign, worked on the Biden and Harris campaigns, and held a key role at Hawkfish, the Bloomberg-backed Democratic data firm.
She's been inside the PMO since February.

Basically, the banks, oh, and that little thing called THE GOVERNMENT, can attach rules directly to anyone's money. They get to decide the exact conditions for when, where, and if your money is valid. You pay a contractor? That money only becomes valid in his account after an inspector approves the job.

My thoughts are with the Jewish community and the injured officer in Belleville, after reports of a shooting near Sons of Jacob Synagogue. While we do not yet have the details of this incident, I know it creates fear and deep concern here in Toronto.
The Jewish community will see an increased police presence as we take precautions to keep people safe.
Jewish Torontonians should not need police presence to observe Yom Kippur, or to simply live their day-to-day lives. As long as we contend with rising antisemitism and hate, we will spare no expense keeping the community safe.
